We operate in
three ways:
- as a supplier, quoting for goods
requested by clients against their specifications. When our offer is
accepted, we purchase the required goods on our own behalf, arrange
for all packaging and transport them by sea or air to the client's
designated delivery point.
- as a procurement agent, where we act exclusively
on our client's behalf, procuring equipment to specification and
charging an agreed fee for our work. We are, in effect, the project's
contracted procurement arm in Europe.
- as a procurement
consultancy, when we either offer trusted experts to projects, or make
ourselves available as short-term procurement consultants. We can
assist with ICB, LCB and LICB document preparation, or set up
procurement sections in client projects and carry out procurement
training, especially where it applies to the procedures of the
particular funding agency. Our staff is proficient in evaluation
methods for full international competitive bidding procedures, for
smaller limited shopping exercises and off-the-shelf emergency
procurement.
We have agents in those
countries where we work most extensively, and in some we have
Winchester-trained representation of our own.
Where we
operate
We set no geographical
limits, working with projects on every continent, in countries from Albania
to Zimbabwe and in cities from Ashgabat to Zanzibar.
