Winchester Procurement provides goods and logistic services to a wide range of markets. Most of our clients are from Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean. We work closely with our clients to develop a progressive relationship that is maintained through a personalised customer service supplemented by regular visits from Winproc personnel.
Business Technology
It might be a jungle out there where our clients work but back in the Winchester office, systems and efficiency are the order of the day. Every incoming enquiry is entered into our bespoke procurement and export management software (Mansys) and receives a unique progressive identification number. The software empowers us to be more efficient with order acknowledgements, purchase orders, shipping documentation and invoices. This in turn gives us more time to source products for our clients at the best possible prices. We always provide technical information along with any price quote to ensure our customers have all the necessary information to make an informed decision
Shipping
Our shipping department negotiates with forwarders, transporters, airlines and shipping companies finding the most efficient and cost effective solution for our clients. We often use different shipping agencies for different countries. Why? Some forwarders are better than other into different markets. They ship more tonnage and therefore receive better rates from shipping lines and air carriers. We pass these savings on to our clients and are constantly monitoring the forwarders pricing and performance.
Consolidation service
If you need a trusted and secure reception point where your purchases can be consolidated, we offer it. We have such delivery points in many parts of the world where goods are received, checked and safely stored before onward delivery by sea container, break bulk cargo or airfreight to your port of entry.
